Vacations all I Ever Wanted!

Me in front of l'arc de triomphe
One of my favorite things of all times to do is going on vacations! I love to travel to new places and learn about the local culture. I have been lucky enough to travel to various places in the states but also I have been on a couple cruises visited the Bahamas and the Caribbean where I was able to go zip lining through the jungle. I had an AMAZING opportunity to go to London and see where our history started; being sort of a history buff this was fascinating to me.

I’ve visited Paris where I was able to go to the Louvre, see the Effile tower, and Notre Dame.

I also went to Barcelona were I saw the amazing architecture of Antoni Gaudí and visited my first topless beach (which I did not partake in but was extremely interesting). I loved every second of these great trips I wish that I could travel the world.

My next vacation I have scheduled is this summer. My boyfriend’s family and I are visiting Tybee Island (and island off the coast of Savannah) for a week. We rented a house that is right on the beach, I am so excited mainly to get away and relax. One thing that I cannot wait for is to lie out on the beach and work on my tan but most of all I am excited for all of the adventures that we can have.  What I really want to do is to go deep sea fishing and try to catch a shark or some cool type of ocean fish.

In typical fashion of this blog I have to tell you my dream vacation! One day I will travel to Greece and Italy.  I think that the landscape and scenery is amazing and I would love to learn about their culture and try their wine which I am sure is FABULOUS! I think that it would be so much fun to take two or three weeks and travel to all of the major cities in the country.  I am hoping after I graduate this will be my graduation present to myself and I will be able to travel… we will see if there is one thing I have learned is you can’t plan that far ahead because life will happen :)

Home is Where the Heart Is

Something that I have been thinking a lot about lately on top of a career, marriage, and babies is my future house. As I have shared before I am currently back living at my parent’s house living there for the time being and as much as I love them it is not the ideal situation for someone in their twenties.

In last week’s post I talked about how I would like a smaller wedding well that is mainly because I would like to put all of my extra money and energy into a house because ideally on a lake or water.

Now I know that in real life I probably never be able to afford the mansion of my dreams but this is about my dreams not the reality that I am living in.

In my dream house there would be at least 3 to 4 bedrooms with at least 2 bathrooms. The most important area though would be the kitchen. I want an open floor concept. The kitchen would be big enough for an island in the middle and side bar with seating.  I want to have a house that will allow me to host dinners and have my family over for holidays.

While I was thinking about this blog and what I dream about would be to move down to Georgia and live off the coast line. So I searched houses and found the house that I would live to move into if only I had 2 million dollars.

Well one can dream right? Maybe one day my dreams will become reality.
